![]() ![]() They will mollify you by supplying a named contact email, but be warned these personalised email addresses are generic departments, not individuals. Having escalated the problem to their 'investigations' department all I got back was yet another copy of my confirmation. Their sales advisors pretend they don't understand the issue when I have called. ![]() I accepted their quote and I have a linked holiday sales reference number with a completely different amount on it which equates to 2.5% more on balance. I rang straight away, I emailed, I rang again and have been fobbed off every time and told I would have made a verbal agreement to the total figures shown on the final invoice. However, and my issue is this my subsequent confirmation paperwork had a 2.5% credit card surcharge added to the complete holiday price, not just to the large deposit I paid to secure the holiday. Their call centre abroad means that talking to a sales advisor is disjointed and uncomfortable as every person I have spoken to is very hard to understand and to be confident they are understanding you. Obviously internet price was vastly different to 'real time' price which the general public are already acutely aware of. My experience of them:- Initial phone call very pressurised, I had to be firm and tell them I would call back, not hold the line while I make a decision. If you book and experience an issue it is very stressful trying to sort it out. I personally will never book through Teletext holidays again. ![]()
